Good to see Jake using his time wisely!!! Former Broncos quarterback Jake Plummer and older brother Eric advanced to the semifinals of the Colorado Open handball championships over the weekend at the Denver Athletic Club. The Plummers were defeated in the semifinals by eventual champions Bear Meiring and Jay Sprenger. The Plummers upset the No. 2-seeded team to make it to the semifinals. "The Plummers did great. We had them seeded in the middle and they were really strong," tournament director Stan Wolpoff said. Plummer retired from the NFL after 10 seasons on March 2.
Not a good problem to have this early on......Chip Scoggins, Star Tribune: Minnesota coach Tim Brewster says the team needs more receivers, but it's full-speed ahead with plans to install the spread offense.

In closing, just when you think you had it rough, poor Vorenus finds out that he was betrayed by his whore daughter, when a secret shipment of Gold is absconded. This is after Pullo's wife loses a battle against ancient concoctions, thus losing everything that is dear to him. Not a good time to be in Rome, but since there is only 2 episodes left in this brief series, let us drink grog and ask for forgiveness AND that Pullo does not see you in some back alley.....
