I happened to stop by the Boise Hawks game last night and witnessed this Curse up close. This former First Rounder, was down in the bullpen, just being one of the guys, and offering up completely goofy renditions of a scary pitcher. Contorting his ankles/feet, blowing out his cheeks and adjusting his gumby type ears in odd arrangements. A typical zany and crafty lefty, I suppose.....
That being said, the former First Rounder, with glasses, was a good sport and signed an autograph (possibly forced by management) before the beginning of the game near the front entrance. My son was stoked and what more could you asked for- unless the former First Rounder signed my very own PS2.
