Pics pilfered from various sources...

Screen grabs and other photo links...not the best screengrabs but beats nothing....have had some emails stating that there will be some photo submissions here shortly in the next few days. With Christmas going on and all, I can see the pics being updated by Monday!

Jeremy "Milk Carton" Avery

This man shut down BSU's offense! Must have been the power of the stache!

From the "what could have been " section....
Vinny's foot out of bounds, followed up by the holding call by JGott
Favorite play of the game

208 shout out...to N.A. ( ?) and Titus Young, I am guessing

What Would Mike ( T. Williams) Do?
Mike T Williams dishing out advice

After JJ made a big hit on the TCU sideline, the Frogs were giving him the verbal business...he just rose his hand like, "keep talking"

This helmet to helmt hit might have been the turning pint for the TCU Horned Frogs

Here is some wacky comments along the readerboard on the top of each pic.....obnug noticed this first

For all of the Chrissy Johnson fans/stalkers...here she is thinking- "What are our cheerleaders wearing this year?"

Cheerleader in back is thinking, "Will Iloka propose to me next?"

I sure hope this bondage look does not take off. If it does, see Mr. Carder!

This loss hurts more than the ECU loss

last year.....might take some time for this basement-dwelling blogger to recover. At this point, I feel this loss is the worst loss since Goergia. I feel this loss devalues the momentum we gathered since the Fiesta Bowl. I am too shocked to share pics that have been emailed to me. Some of my friends think this pain will pass.....my only rebuttal is that with the loss, we can go undefeated next year again and still not make a BCS Bowl. This one really hurts!!!!

As for blame....I blame the running game....I blame the lack of offense- especially after the Hout interception. My stomach just churns at this point. TCU owned this game for the last 36 minutes plus!
Lack of getting in the ball in the endzone is going to haunt the Broncos. This is the second best team in the Mountain West and BSU could not beat them. Not tonight and it hurts!

Any suggestions on how to get over this ....is welcome at statueleft@hotmail.com

Somewhere Mark May is laughing......

If you can, have a Merry Christmas!

pics from idaho statesman- where I thieved pics all year....kudos to those guys

Finally the last few years have been painful in Dec.....fellow Broncocountry poster had this info....and it hurts....painfully!

2004-L 44-40 Louisville> Played our hearts out,Last second interception.

2005-L 27-21 Boston College> Played our hearts out,Last second interception.

2006- W 43-42 Oklahoma> Played our hearts out,Last minute interception.

2007-L 41-38 East Carolina> Played our hearts out, Lost with ECU kicking a game winning field goal with no time left.

2008- L 17-16 TCU> Played our hearts out,Last minute interception.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good.........where is Jeremy Avery? Alert the Missing Persons Unit!

What I just noticed....

The good .....( pretty funny skit-look unrehearsed)

-----also, great effort for Garcia to not come out of the game

The bad....( this kid needs to be disciplined hardcore)

The ugly...... this poor young prodigy ( I do not remember him doing anything special against BSU middyear)

or something less gross

- Fresno State coaching-primarily the future of Pat Hill. Coach Dan Brown deserved better!
- Max Hall and BYU's defensive performance
- Dallas Cowboys not making the playoffs with all of that talent
- StatueLeft still not issuing his breakdown on the Poinsettia bowl
- Gonzaga not locking down UCONN when it counted!
- Ohio State about to get beat again, in a bad way, in a BCS Bowl game
- If Coach Gary Patterson licks a toad, does the Toad get high?

sidenote- great article on the history of IJ in the local fishwrap here in Idaho...linky

-I was in Oklahoma City a few years back, 2005, staying at a Marriott when I hopped into the elevator and ran into a bunch of TCU football players. They were staying there and about to head out to face off against the Sooners down in Norman. I guess my brush with the TCU was positive, as TCU knocked off Oklahoma that day. I gave myself credit for giving the TCU players a brush with BSU excellence by proxy. Anytime Oklahoma loses, I find myself happy.

Questions to Ponder:

Will Kellen Moore be the face of the program, more so than IJ, during his reign at Boise State? Will Kellen Moore be in the conversation as being the most popular Bronco?
Will his jersey number be in the discussion of being retired?

Also- is this the best pic of the year involving a Bronco?

Does anybody else.....

.....see the similarity between Tommy Caffee from Brotherhood and Illinois Democratic Ron Blagojevich

Also in the news....JT from BroncoNationNOW has an awesome podcast with the enemy, TCU Blogger.....without paying $500,000 to $1,000,000 to land the interview. Nice find!

less than 2 weeks from the TCU BSU game in San Diego.....Se Habla Espanol? My only time I ever went across the border into Tijuana, my cab driver was driving down Revolucion Blvd and ran over a pig that got caught up in the road...
"Oh well", said the cab driver and kept on driving.
